Respawn Entertainment’s game will be multiplatform

(In honor of the upcoming Rally to Restore Sanity/March to Keep Fear Alive I shall deliver all the news this weekend twice: First the sane way, and then the fear way. It’s the weekend, I get to do stuff like this (I hope… please don’t fire me).

Sane: I’m pretty sure that everyone is pretty excited for whatever Respawn Entertainment, the company founded by Infinity Ward ex-bosses, is going to put out as their first game. Unfortunately we know jack about it except for a few stray comments, and now, thanks to Respawn’s job page on Gamasutra, that it will be going multi-platform. Xbox 360, PS3 and PC to be exact. The job listing also reaffirms that that the game will be an original IP

Yea, I’m pretty sure if you didn’t see this coming you might want to look into using sonar to see.

Fear: This so called “multi-platformism” clearly discriminates against the Wii and all other consoles that can be purchased. Everything should always be fair and equal and in doing so all systems ever should get every game. Clearly the people at Respawn are HD snobs who don’t know about the little man who can’t afford anything but an NES and a controller where only the D-pad works. Did they think about them? No. Multi-platform my ass.

Respawn game headed to PC, PS3, 360 [TVGB]
