Resident Evil 4 for Wii is NOT censored

Recommended Videos

It’s been reported that Resident Evil 4 for the Wii will be censored. Technically, this is true. The original source, Next-Gen.biz, said:

“…a great portion of the blood and gore has been excised from the game. Headshots no longer kill, limbs can no longer be shot off.”

Now us flag-waving, zombie killing, corn growing Americans can’t do with just that! We need to see those zombies shot in the head and have them go down. Otherwise, our aiming skills were all for naught. We went ahead and contacted Capcom, and here’s the word straight from them:

RE 4 Wii Edition content in Japan is based on their previous releases, the US version content will be similar to previous releases here (not talking about any of the Wii Edition functions with the controls of course, just about gameplay content).

So there you have it. The U.S. games won’t be censored, but the Japanese game will, as it has been in the past. Crisis averted. Now, I think you finally have time to make a profile.
