Puzzloop dated for Japanese WiiWare

While we’re still waiting for our WiiWare, things have already exploded and then died down for Japan’s version of the service. Their launch saw a nice chunk of gaming goodness, and now things are picking back up with the release announcement of Minna de Puzzloop.

IGN reports that Minna de Puzzloop will see an April 22nd release date in Japan. If you thought that these screens looked familiar, its probably because this game goes by the name of Magnetica in the US. This puzzle game will cost 1,000 Wii Points.

This is the second multiplayer title, following the launch title Dr. Mario & Bacillus Extermination. Just like Dr. Mario, Minna de Puzzloop supports simultaneous play for up to four players.

I hope this title makes it to the US WiiWare. I’ve always been fond of these marble flicking puzzle games, though Zuma has always been close to my heart. I think the four-person multiplayer action could be a lot of fun.

[Though somewhat unrelated, I challenge anyone here to top my Zuma score on Xbox Live. DaleNorth is my gamertag.]
