PS3, PC get ‘Dead Money’ for Fallout: New Vegas

The Xbox 360’s window of exclusivity is up. Fallout: New Vegas players can get the ten-dollar add-on “Dead Money” for PC — by way of Steam and Direct2Drive — and PlayStation 3.

If the initial release slipped under your radar like it did mine, “Dead Money” involves your character being forced to find the Sierra Madre Casino’s treasure alongside a few other captives. There are spooky guys in gas masks who probably aren’t looking for a hug so much as a moving object to stab. Figures.

I don’t know that any of us on staff have played this yet, although I’ve seen mixed reactions from those who have. What’s the skinny, commenters?
