Atlus will now be publishing Cryamore, the Kickstarter-funded RPG from indie team Nostalgico.
The Shin Megami Tensei publisher has apparently been courting the studio for some time, offering the development team help to finish the game, which raised over $240,000 via Kickstarter in 2013.
While Nostalgico will retain the rights to the property, its partnership with Atlus will provide certain benefits, such as additional quality insurance, marketing, and distribution.
Since the game is now targeting a 2016 launch, Nostalgico has revised its plans regarding what platforms the title will release on. Cryamore is now gunning for PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox One, Windows PC, Linux, and Mac -- likely dropping mobile devices and last generation systems.
