The long-awaited followup to Beyond Good & Evil was once again absent at E3 this year, prompting The Guardian to ask Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot if the title is actually still in development.
“I can’t say the name, but there is a team working with Michel Ancel on a project that is... very interesting," Guillemot replied. "It’s a game I’m sure you will like very much, and we can’t say more.”
"...we don’t want to say anything until we are well advanced on the project. It’s too early to say.”
Beyond Good & Evil 2 was announced in 2008, the better part of a decade ago. One has to wonder just how much longer Ubisoft plans to drag this out. It's high time to shit or get off the pot.
