Bethesda Softworks has officially announced Prey 2 today, following word this weekend that details were coming. The shooter sequel will arrive in 2012 and is being developed for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The first details are scheduled to appear in the May issues of Official Xbox Magazine and PlayStation: The Official Magazine, alongside various European publications. Human Head Studios, Prey‘s original developer, is making the sequel using id Software’s id tech engine.
Prey was pretty cool for an early generation title, so I’m pretty eager to see this. Who else is into it?
