If the default theme on your PlayStation 3 is getting a bit stale and you don’t mind a paying for a crisp, professional theme, then Sony has your back. Starting tomorrow Sony will begin offering premium themes for purchase in the PlayStation Store. Essentially these themes are like the free ones, except better with the integration of XMB icons.
The new themes are the result of a partnership between Sony, Smobile, and Disruptive Media Publishers. The new themes will range on subject matter and will be available under an aptly named section in the PlayStation store dubbed “Premium Themes.”
I’m not much of a theme guy (unless it involves flamethrowers, Wolfenstein or the color black) so I really don’t know what to think about this. Have any of you been waiting for better themes?
