EVO is upon us and even Sony is getting hype. On the eve of this weekend’s festivities the platform holder has some major announcements for their forthcoming fighting game, detailing both PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale‘s release date and pre-order incentives.
Putting money down for Sony’s Smash Bros.-inspired fighter will net you an exclusive set of costumes, which includes an adorable Sly Cooper outfit that’s looks like a throwback to the anthropomorphized characters of Disney’s 1973 classic Robin Hood. The full set for the current roster can be seen in the gallery below.
More costumes will be available upon release, but those seen here and presumably the remnants of the as of yet unannounced characters will be pre-order exclusive. Speaking of mystery characters, Sony will be announcing two more fighters later today during their EVO Exhibition Presentation at 6:00 PST. Oh yeah, and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale launches on October 23. Get hype!
