Piss on electrical cables to survive in Safety First (NSFWish)

Tweet this at @rkelly

Ok, point your monitor away from adults who tuck their shirts in by their own free will. This one's a little NSFW. In Safety First!, you gotta know when to piss and when to hold it. You piss to win. You beat the game if you piss right. Piss Piss Piss. It's pissing physics for the whole family, Stimpy. But seriously, the sound design is what really sells this one, crank it up! We've got two videos of this in action.

The controls are so awkward you'll laugh trying to master it: Two thumbsticks control each wobbly leg of a 2D stick effigy ... and those legs aren't firmly attached to the torso. You'll wobble across 69 (yep) levels of earthquakes, potholes, zero gravity, and hazardous electrical cables while releasing thick "Magical Yellow Repair Liquid" between your legs to disable traps. Why, you ask? So you can listen to grandma's favorite tune. Duh.

The game's on Steam today for two bucks, and surely coming to every screaming YouTuber's channel by midnight. The next time a college asks me to give a speech about careers in the video games industry this is what's going in the PowerPoint. Game of the year, folks. The jokesters at Headup Games add that our hero is "quite fragile". If you dig this sort of thing I also recommend revisiting the whole Porrasturvat trifecta.
