Persona Dancing titles reveal bonus characters for pre-orders and Day One editions

Shinjiro and Goro strut their stuff

As we bear down on the disco-glittered release of Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, publisher Atlus has revealed two characters coming to the rhythm-action games as pre-order bonuses.

Anyone pre-ordering either title will receive a bonus character and music track. P3: Dancing in Moonlight brings the gruff-but-kind Shinjiro Aragaki, along with the theme "Battle Hymn of the Soul". Those who pre-order P5: Dancing in Starlight will get boy-genius Goro Akechi and the theme "Will Power". The latter character confuses me, as the press release referred to these pre-orders as "fan favourites", and as we know, Akechi is nobody's favourite.

Both characters are also available in Day One physical editions of the game. As there will be no physical release for the PS Vita platform of the games, then Akechi and Aragaki will be gifted to anyone purchasing the releases digitally within the first two weeks of launch.

Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight dance onto PS4 and PS Vita December 4. A collector's edition, also including Persona 4: Dancing All-Night, is available to pre-order.
