Persona 2 PSP comes with an old-school music toggle

While fans of old-school RPGs rejoiced when Atlus’ enhanced port of the original Persona game hit the PlayStation Portable, a few of the more crotchety devotees complained about director/composer Shoji Meguro’s rearranged musical score. It was a minor complaint to be sure, but it seems Atlus has taken it to heart for their work on the upcoming port of Persona 2: Innocent Sin, especially since they’ve declared that the port was being done for older fans of the series.

To that end, Persona 2: Innocent Sin PSP will have both the original and rearranged music available in-game, and players will be able to switch between soundtracks on the fly. Talk about bending over backwards to satisfy some folks, right?
