Overwatch's newest hero is the Haitian medic Baptiste

0

Excited to try him out

Blizzard has been injecting new heroes into Overwatch at roughly the rate of three per year (2017 and 2018 saw this exact cadence), and 2019 is already welcoming its first: the support hero Baptiste.

A survivor of the Omnic War, Baptiste is a badass Haitian combat medic who regrets some of his past life choices (he defected from the villainous Talon as a result) and vows to "fight for a better world." His mantra? "A bandage or a bullet." Yeah, I'm into this guy, especially his Dragon Ball Z-esque power level Scouter.

We'll know more soon enough as Blizzard is pretty hasty when it comes to delivering cold hard info after a tease. You can watch his backstory below and expect his entire kit and a playable PTR build with Baptiste in the near future.
