Overcooked and Hitman: Blood Money are a good fit for Games with Gold

Two games about improvising when things go badly

I've been shouting about Overcooked for what feels like ages, so I'll keep this short. If you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription, an extra controller, and someone to play co-op games with, October is your chance to hop on one of the best modern cooperative titles around. Trust me on this one.

Here's the full Games with Gold lineup for next month:

On a related note, Mark Brown just did a great video about how Overcooked's level design and mechanics encourage constant communication between partners and why that makes it such a wonderful co-op game. I maintain that it's a must-play. (Just try not to get too worked up.)

As for the two backward-compatible titles, Blood Money will serve as a nice warmup to Hitman 2.
