Out January 20, 2016

Following up on its early 2015 Homeworld Remastered Collection, Gearbox is publishing developer Blackbird Interactive's new Homeworld tale, Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak.

The "prequel from some of the original creators of Homeworld and Homeworld 2" is coming to PC on January 20, 2016.

"After more than a decade-long hiatus for Homeworld, it is an immense honor in the last year to launch two new entries in the Homeworld franchise: an incredible, critically acclaimed remastering of the original Homeworld games and now the all-new, ground-based, real-time-strategy game called Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak," Gearbox's Randy Pitchford said.

In a welcomed move, Steam pre-orders for Deserts of Kharak will net you a free copy of Homeworld Remastered Collection. If you already own the latter, you get 20% off Deserts of Kharak pre-orders,

Steven watches anime & sports, buys meat out of trucks, dates a Muppet, and is only good at cooking. He stands before you bereft of solace and well on the road to perdition. ('^ω^) more
