Orbitron: Revolution arrives on PC via GamersGate

As I mentioned a few days ago, I don’t know jack about shoot-’em-ups apart from you usually fly in one direction and shoot lots of stuff. With Heaven Variant incoming later this year, PC gamers don’t have to wait long for some shmup action as Orbitron: Revolution has arrived.

Obritron: Revolution was initially released on the Xbox Live Indie Games channel last year but it’s now been ported to PC and is available on GamersGate for $4.99/£2.99 which looks to be a steal. The game still retains it’s three game modes but it’s been enhanced to support resolutions of up to 1900×1200.

Our own Jordan Devore picked Orbitron Revolution as one of the better games he’s played on the Xbox Live Indie Games channel recently, and whilst that may seem like faint praise, the game looks way more advanced than a lot of the rubbish you can find on there.
