ゼルダねこ Neko has become a sort of celebrity within the Zelda: Breath of the Wild player community, sharing colorful videos describing their various exploits in great detail. While the videos themselves are in Japanese, they provide helpful notations throughout the clips, as well as English subtitles.

For instance, Neko recently shared a video of them fighting a Hinox, Guardian, and Lynel at the same time. Not only is the video fun from an entertainment/combat perspective; they also share how to replicate the experience in a legit version of the game.

The action takes place at Lanaryu Road, east gate, and it’ll take a bit of work to actually get all three of them to meet. So you start at the foot of the mountain, where you can find a Lynel and a Hinox in the same location. But you also need to lure a Guardian out of the wetlands zone and into the arena, so to speak.

There are a few options here, though Neko recommends skipping Kakariko Village because of how vertical the layout is. Instead, you can Guardian flip cup them over the mountain, then give chase. You can also flip them up the mountain from other locations, though Neko explains that you need to act semi-quickly, as Guardians can return to their original areas.

Then you’ll need to use a crate to push them over to the edge, and drop them with a quick shot in the eye: which forces them off. Here is the “most difficult part” according to Neko, as the ravine is extremely narrow, and you’ll need to physically move the Guardian through the road to the east gate. Using the Lynel Mask in this volatile spot will make things easier, so you don’t aggro the nearby Lynel while you’re trying to set everything up.

The entire first third of the video is a fascinating look at Guardian physics, so even if you’re not interested in Zelda: Breath of the Wild player fights, you may as well check out for that aspect alone.
