Capcom has today announced the North American launch day for its DS-bound sequel to the critically acclaimed Okami. Adorable wolf-em-up Okamiden is due to release on March 15, 2011 (Euro date is March 18, as the comments pointed out!).

There will also be a preorder bonus available through GameStop, with a limited number of paintbrush-shaped touchscreen instrument and a custom screen cleaner featuring artwork of Chibiterasu and Kuni. 20,000 of these preorder packages are being made.

In addition to this, Capcom has put a “Goblin Mask” App on Facebook which fans can use in order to win a 3DS, plushies, copies of the game and more.

All in all, it’s rather nice to see Capcom doing a little marketing for this game.
