Despicable You

Minions! Facebook-using soccer moms and all of Japan unironically love them. But years before Despicable Me, video games had an even more hellish type of minion.

Overlord and its sequel Overlord II are the latest additions to the Xbox One backward compatibility program. These action role-playing games tasked the player with commanding an army of minion goblins in various underworld-like settings. These games' legacies don't really stretch much further than "Yeah, they were fine." Not quite as divisive as the little yellow guys.
