Nintendo isn't done updating Splatoon this year

0

More quality-of-life improvements

"It ain't over yet for Splatoon."

As discussed during the Nintendo Direct presentation this afternoon, the inky shooter will continue to improve this year with more updates. First up, a patch is dropping on March 8 (March 9 in Europe) that improves lesser-used abilities to make them more desirable, adjusts matchmaking and team assignments for ranked battles, and adds new Splatfest elements.

Another update, a two-parter, is coming as well. The first arrives in April. There will be tweaks for existing weapons and new "weapon set recommendations" -- combinations featuring a selection of some of the "most popular and unappreciated weapons."
