Nintendo is celebrating the Zelda: Link's Awakening remake in Smash Ultimate with new spirits

0

This weekend

Nintendo is going all-in on the Switch Link's Awakening remake. It's getting a special amiibo, all prior Zelda amiibo work for it, it has a special edition, and now, it's crossing over into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

While it already had some representation in the game's World of Light mode and by way of some spirits, it's getting two new ones for an event this weekend: the cartoony new Awakening Link (the amiibo), and the new Kaepora Gaebora owl guide. Prior spirits that repped the series are still in.

As usual, the event kicks off this weekend in Smash Ultimate. Check out the list of spirits here to make sure you have them all!
