Niero (Has Precious Birthday) video

Niero,

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been two years since Destructoid started up! It almost feels like it was yesterday, but that would be ridiculous. It clearly wasn’t yesterday, way too much stuff has gone on in between then.

For your birthday I took all the powers I had and focused them on one pure gift. That gift? The gift of a birthday video. Anybody who is anybody gets a video on their birthday, and you Niero are certainly anybody. Just another face in the crowd is what I call you my friend.

Only joking old friend. Hey! Speaking of an “old friend” I guess that’s what you are now! You are old(er) today! Time sure does fly when you’re rubbing elbows with industry giants like John Romero, John Tobias, and John Carmack. Whoa, that’s weird. All three of those guys have the same knack for having unconventional last names!

Seriously, Niero, you have done a stellar job in making one of best videogame sites on the Internet. You’ve accomplished an enormous amount of feats this year, like getting yourself into Bomberman (dude, for realsies, how did you pull that off?). You’ve assembled a great team of writers, and one enormous failure of an ass.

Happy Birthday Niero — enjoy your video!
