Next two Fallout 3 DLC packs get pushed back a month

The first downloadable content for Fallout 3, Operation: Anchorage, was loved by some but received its fair share of hate mail. I happened to enjoy it for a few reasons, namely the the new locale and the killer loot shown above.

Bethesda’s original plan was to release the second content pack a month after Operation Anchorage, with the final DLC pack making it out in March. For better or for worse, both pieces of downloadable content will now be delayed, Bethesda VP of marketing Pete Hines has revealed.

Now, The Pitt, a new quest revolving around the raider-populated ruins of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, will be released sometime in March. Additionally, Broken Steel, the one that raises the level cap to 30 and lets you continue on past Fallout 3‘s original ending, won’t be out until April.

I was really hoping I’d be able to play Broken Steel before April, but if this delay means a better overall product, I will be more than happy to wait it out.
