New Splatterhouse screens are deliciously gory

Recommended Videos

It’s been too long since we posted about Splatterhouse. FAR too long. Namco Bandai must have sensed my longing, because they sent over a small handful of new screens today — just enough to satisfy me but leave me wanting more. Still, it looks sufficiently blood-drenched, and it pleases me just to see that ( I guess a remake of Splatterhouse without gallons of blood would be pretty incomplete).

According to the press release, the game is slated for a Q3 2010 release for PS3 and 360, so we have a while to wait. In the meantime, go nose around the official site, replay the original game, and join me in hoping that this remake will be every bit as awesomeas I think it has the capacity to be.
