It’s Friday, and apparently that means we have another Prototype video to enjoy. This time around, we get to see a little more of the story behind the game, as Alex Mercer embarks on a revenge quest and uses the pretentiously named “Web of Intrigue” system to piece together a conspiracy. The game is relying on that oft-abused “amnesia” plot device, but I’ll try not to hold that against it.
Prototype has very quickly become one of my most anticipated on 2009, and I simply can’t wait to play it, even if the story sounds disappointingly cookie-cutter. Any game that allows you to elbow-drop a tank has got to be worth my time, right?
