Here we have nearly two dozen stills for Pac-Man Championship Edition DX. There’s a lot of very bright neon, some explosions and a return of the “Block Town” theme from Pac-Mania.
Pac-Man Championship Edition was brilliantly successful at re-inventing the classic maze game and remains one of my favorite downloadable titles. I’m skeptical that Pac-Man Championship Edition DX is going to result in a similar success. The “sleeping” ghost enemies in this new version sound like a great addition but arming Pac-Man with a smart bomb sounds silly.
