New monster play screens for Lord of the Rings Online

0

The newest expansion for Lord of the Rings Online, Rise of Isengard, has some fancy new screenshots showing off visual upgrades to monster play, the game's version of PvP. PvMP (player vs monster player) pits the lighter races  against players who choose to be monsters.

The graphics have certainly improved since I played, and now that Lord of the Rings Online is free to play, I may have to check it out again. Of course, it is only the base game that is free and extras, such as Rise of Isengard, still cost. If you already have the game and are interested in more content, you can pre-order the expansion, which releases September 27th, from Turbine's website. Until then take a gander at the screens.
