New Fortnite Battle Royale mode assembles 20-person teams


I'd like to see more of this stuff going forward

There's comfort in numbers. While I occasionally like to try my luck alone in battle royale matches, generally speaking, the anticipation is too much. Surviving against 99 stranger is stressful business. And it becomes exponentially more stressful as the match stretches on. As such, I prefer to squad up.

Epic Games is about to drop a new mode in Fortnite Battle Royale that'll speak to everyone who believes teamwork makes the dream work. The format? Five teams made up of twenty players each.

The mode will be playable starting tomorrow, March 8. Better make some new friends.
