Don’t shed tears for Dungeons and Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited. The delay of the launch of the free-to-play MMO was a bummer, no doubt, but we can at least celebrate its eventual arrival with these screenshots. Earlier this morning, Turbine blasted several fresh images of the game to press. Specifically, the screens show off the new Favored Soul class and parts of the Reaver’s Reach adventure pack.
As announced and expected, the digital upgrade didn’t make its original early August launch date. The reason for the delay was polish-related. “We feel that more time is needed to deliver on this commitment,” game executive producer Fernanado Paiz said in the official release. “As a result, we are delaying our launch to ensure that we can support the massive increase in players that we are expecting and deliver them a free to play experience like none other.”
Eberron Unlimited is still slated to hit on September 9th, so if all goes well, players should be rocking out in DDO’s universe, for free, pretty soon.
