Neurodiver, the sequel to 2064: Read Only Memories, is coming in 2020

Indie outfit Midboss has revealed a trailer for an upcoming sequel to 2017's cyberpunk adventure 2064: Read Only Memories. Neurodiver looks to continue the series' love of engaging colourful characters and deductive investigation, once again set within a dystopian future vision of San Francisco.

In Neurodiver, players will guide an esper named ES88, who has submitted her own identity and memories for access to powerful technology that allows her to poke around in other people's heads. This skill is called upon when a rogue esper - the Golden Butterfly - starts wreaking havoc with the minds of San Francisco's populace.

As ES88, it is your task to traverse the city, engage in conversation with Read Only Memories characters old and new, and plunge into the brains of the Golden Butterfly's victims, in efforts to stop this mind-hopper before they - or indeed you - mess with the psyche of the city just a little too much.

Read Only Memories: Neurodiver is coming to PC in 2020.
