Neck-snapping goodness: Videos of Condemned 2’s multiplayer

Recommended Videos

“Cruuunch!” You hear that? That’s the sound of victory! The multiplayer in Condemned 2: Bloodshot is exactly what you’d expect it to be: violent, gruesome, and full of dudes whacking each other with random objects they found conveniently placed on a nearby wall.

If you haven’t already clicked the play button for the above video, don’t expect there to be an overwhelming amount of content — both clips are extremely short. Looking on the bright side of things, only in-game footage is shown, which is something we can all be thankful for.

You’ll notice how similar the multiplayer combat is to the fighting found in Condemned 2‘s single-player narrative. As far as I can tell, there is no difference between the two other than the fact that you’re beating the crap out of another player, rather than the game’s AI.

While I don’t know the specifics on what’s planned for the multiplayer, I can only hope that there’s some variety to be found and not just one mode in which everyone chooses a character and proceeds to snap each other’s necks. Otherwise, I can see the multiplayer getting old, fast.
