We already had a good idea this was coming based on a trademark, but Namco Bandai has officially announced Mr. Driller: Drill Till You Drop.
Set for release as a downloadable DSiWare title this April, the game will feature 40 stages, six playable drillers, and multiple modes — “Mission” and “Time Attack.” And because of the dual screens, Namco says a “new strategic element” is added because you can see the next batch of incoming blocks.
Sounds great, but really? Until I drop? That’s quite a bit of drilling, Namco. I’m kind of tired just thinking about it. How about Mr. Driller: Drill Till Your Arms Hurts and Then Take a Break So You Don’t Get a Cramp for WiiWare?
