More release date breaking, this time it’s Guitar Hero III

Recommended Videos

Release dates are broken so often these days that I don’t even know why we have them anymore. If it’s done, just put it on the shelf, right?

That’s probably what someone at a Wisconsin ShopKo was thinking… or maybe they didn’t care enough to read the box, putting Guitar Hero III out right next to a couple of copies of Guitar Hero II. Looking at the picture from Go Nintendo, I’m guessing it was probably the latter.

What’s interesting is that only the Wii version of the game is out on the shelf. Could this be a case of what I like to call “self stocking?”

“Okay boss, the shelves are all stocked, so I’m going to clock out now!”

For those not near this particular store, you only have a couple more days to wait. If you ask me, the Wii version of Guitar Hero III is the way to go. Rock out with that until you get Rock Band for Xbox 360 or PS3, and then you’ll have the best of both worlds.
