It’s a new month, a new Musing, and a new lame attempt by me to somehow make this month’s Musing topic thematically fit in with October.
Technically, Autumn began back towards the end of September. Living in Los Angeles though, you wouldn’t have known, since it was a million degrees this last weekend. Now that it’s October 1st, it seems to have finally cooled down, and the seasons appear to have actually changed.
Now that I’ve made that dumb introduction, I can shoehorn in October’s theme — change. For your assignment, I want you to write something about how you’ve changed as a gamer. Since last month’s really broad topic was successful, I’m going to do the same thing here — write about anything you want, as long as it relates to a personal change you’ve had in your gaming habits themselves, OR a personal change you’ve experienced as a result of gaming. As long as at least one of the two main points of the topic (either the actual change itself or the catalyst that brought about the change you are discussing) are related to gaming, you’re set.
To participate, just click “Post A Blog” up there in the upper right of the screen, title your post “Changes: WhateverYourTitleIs”, make sure you pick the “Monthly Musing” from the tag list (this is important!), write it up, and set it live. If your article is particularly well-written or sparks interesting discussion, we’ll stick it up on the front page. Don’t forget to read the these guidelines. A good blog will get promoted regardless, but following all these rules will really help me out, and help get your blogs to the front page faster.
