If you happen to be in Cologne around Wednesday, feel free to swing by the convention center hosting gamescom to pick up a free PC demo for Mini Ninjas. If you aren’t in the area, don’t despair: publisher Eidos Interactive is offering the demo through a wide variety of downloadable outlets — Xbox LIVE, PSN, and PC — starting on the 20th.
Mini Ninjas is IO Interactive’s (of Hitman fame) curious family title. It’s a cutesy brawler based in feudal Japan. We played it at E3 ’09 and left the booth unimpressed. Anthony felt the action was shallow and the platforming elements awkward. On the upside, there’s a talking cow. So, take that as you will.
Mini Ninjas hits every platform under the sun September 11th.
