Last week we found out that the new Xbox Experience will to require 128 MB of storage space. Not bad, except for all of the people that own the Arcade/Core Xbox 360s who typically only have the 256MB memory card that comes with the system.

Microsoft feels their pain and have offered up a solution for Arcade owners. Anyone that owns an Arcade/Core unit just has to enter their unit’s serial number at this Web site. From there, Arcade owners will be given the option of picking between a free 512 MB memory card or a refurbished 20GB hard drive for $19.99 after their Xbox 360 has been checked to see if their unit is legible for the offer. This is only good for Arcade/Core units, so don’t bother trying to put in your Pro/Elite serial numbers at the site.

Free anything is never a bad thing and $20 for a 20GB hard drive is a great deal. Thumbs up monkey approves of this offer, how about you?
