Metal Gear Solid V 1080p PS4, 900p Xbox One and PC system requirements

4K Phantom Pain on PC

Buried in last last week's PS4/PS3/360/One/PC comparison shots of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (they all look great!) are the underlying technical performance of the five versions.

The PS3 and 360 versions both run at 720p, 30fps, and it's still kind of amazing that this game is coming to those consoles at all, though I've talked about how I'm kind of looking forward to them getting their last releases (not all companies are releasing games to them with this level of quality and care).

On PS4, it's 1080p, 60fps, like Ground Zeroes. The Xbox One saw a bump up from Ground Zeroes' 720p, 60fps to 900p, 60fps in The Phantom Pain.

And if you are the sort of person who cares deeply about these numbers, you'll be happy to know the PC version (4K resolution) has been pushed up to launch right beside the others September 1. The caveat is that the Metal Gear Online competitive multiplayer, which is delayed until October 6 on consoles, isn't coming to PC until January 2016.

System requirements for the latter follow.
