Mattel files trademark for Stretch Armstrong game

Recommended Videos

I’ve just checked outside and it doesn’t look like we’ve traveled back in time to 1993. We must have done, however, because Mattel has filed a trademark for a Stretch Armstrong game. This is great news, because it means I can watch Jurassic Park at the movie theater again.

Unfortunately, it’s not quite as fun as that. Apparently Universal is making a film based around the old toy, starring some pug-faced prick from the Twilight films. I have no idea how that will be anything other than terrible.

In any case, this is a nice excuse for us to get all nostalgic about the nineties. Man, do you remember when Czechoslovakia dissolved? What was UP with those crazy nineties!?
