Mastering Mario by memory

I can play and complete Super Mario Brothers world 1-1 with out even looking. Okay, maybe I’m full of sh*t, and maybe that sounds like something kids would say on the playground, but if this guy were to say it, he wouldn’t be lying. Watch as this Mario master wows an audience of Japanese celebrities, coaxing out plenty of the “eeh?!”s that are almost standard for this type of programming. He guides our favorite plumber through 1-1 like it ain’t no thang, using only his memory and sound cues. Watch when he hits the underworld to pick up a few more coins: he realizes that he missed one and goes back for it.

Impressive? Indeed, but it would’ve hit home even more if he were to manage 5,000 points on the flag pole. No one is that bad ass.
