Massive Xbox Live Marketplace holiday deals start today

Specials running through the 31st, many more daily deals

As tradition would have it, Microsoft is having its massive "Countdown to 2013" Xbox Live Marketplace sale starting today that will run right up until New Year's Day. There are 29 special offers that will run the length of the sale, with Jet Set Radio reduced to 400 Microsoft Points, Plants vs. Zombies at 600 MSP, and Super Meat Boy at 600 MSP.

If you check back on the promotion's page every day for the next two weeks, you'll find brand-new daily deals to burn a hole through your wallet. Today, you can net Modern Warfare 3 and all of its DLC for half off. Not bad. Cheap Ass Gamer has the list of all the upcoming daily deals, which includes The Walking Dead: Episode 1 being free next week, among so much more.

Disclosure-bot: Just in case the editor neglected to mention it, we have zero control when deals start and end. Deals can sometimes be gone within minutes (please don't shoot the messenger). Trying deal links even hours after this article's time stamp may lead to self-punching, so maybe bookmark our video game deals if you're on the hunt. Also, it goes without saying, but some shopping links do directly support the author. If you've spotted any inaccuracy please let us know asap.
