Coming down the downloadable content pipeline in June is “Overlord,” a paid add-on pack for Mass Effect 2. Yet another Cerberus base has gone silent, and yes, some experiment has gone horribly wrong. This time, a human was fused with artificial intelligence to create a “VI overlord,” hence the title.

Sounds like just another day in the Mass Effect universe. While an exact date for “Overlord” hasn’t been pinned down yet, BioWare has set the price: seven bucks on either PC or Xbox 360. This pack contains two achievements and five areas, apparently.

It hasn’t been that long since I last played Mass Effect 2 — when did they start describing length as “number of areas”? Seems a little odd to me, that’s all.
