The Sentinel is a mutt with a unique trait. It can use tech armor, which increases shield strength and delivers a seismic-like blast if it’s depleted. And because this class does a little of both kinds of space sorcery, you can count on it being able to rob the shields of most enemies, leaving them naked and scared and wishing they didn’t bother joining the Reavers or whatever.
