Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for twenty clams on Amazon

I think I’ve probably mentioned this before at some point, but I really did not like Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I adore the co-op brawler genre and have taken great pleasure in the X-Men Legends series. Hell, I even liked Justice League. But Marvel Ultimate Alliance just seemed to drag on and on, like swimming upstream in a river of mediocrity, right up until the point where it abruptly ended.

For twenty bucks, however, I’m willing to give just about anything a second chance. And that’s the situation we’re faced with today as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for Xbox 360 is Amazon’s Deal of the Day.

What do you guys think of the game? Is it a marked improvement over its predecessor and worth picking up at this price?
