Mario Tennis fills the void left by Star Fox Zero

November 20, 2015

Nintendo says Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash will release for Wii U on November 20, 2015. (Which, as you might recall, was when we were originally going to get Star Fox Zero before it slipped to 2016.)

In response, people on Twitter say they don't care -- that no one cares. Well, I do!

My impression of Ultra Smash from playing a match at E3 this year was positive. The Mega Mushrooms were a chaotic addition and, more importantly, the movement and swinging felt spot on. But it remains to be seen how extensive the rest of the game will be -- it's still Camelot.

I'd like to play real-life tennis again soon, but it's hard to find a good partner and an open court.
