Man, Elden Ring would make a great CRPG based off of this tilt shift

If you haven’t checked out the YouTube channel Flurdeh yet, you probably should. Described as a “love letter to video games,” the channel explores “interesting and beautiful game worlds and scenery,” showcasing the best of the best. That includes this Elden Ring tilt shift perspective video below (via ResetEra).

Straight from the creator, Tiny Game Worlds is “all about seeing the scenery and worlds of video games from a completely different perspective, using techniques like and similar to Tilt Shift in video games to make the world appear smaller.” But in this particular case they thought it would be interesting to use a tilt shift perspective to show a bird’s eye view of the action, focusing on a few key areas of the game.

It’s incredible how different it all looks, despite knowing these zones like the back of my hand at this point following three playthroughs and a Platinum. The framerate and how it looks in motion is arguably the most interesting part, and really brings me back to my days playing tons of old school isometric ARPGs and CRPGs.

Straight up, it wouldn’t take a whole lot to just transform this game into an isometric adventure: the world and the lore are already there.

If you haven’t played Elden Ring yet, the below video (which contains minor location spoilers) showcases the actual game off, sans tilt shift.
