Man beats hardest Doom difficulty without dying

0

The day after release

Doom's "Ultra Nightmare" mode raises the stakes on the shooter's hardest difficulty setting, Nightmare, and adds permadeath. That means if you die once, you have to start the entire thing over.

And it only took a day! YouTube's Zero Master managed to beat Ultra Nightmare on May 14, just one day after Doom released. The full run took just under five hours. Clearly the new Doom has been dumbed down, for casuals. Glad I passed on this.
