MAG ‘Escalation’ DLC out November 2

Folks who participated in the MAG beta program this summer may already be familiar with the ‘Escalation’ on-on pack, which adds a new game mode to Zipper’s massive online first-person shooter. Sony has announced that it will finally be making it available to all players on November 2.

“Escalation” adds an all new game mode, along with three new maps: Isla De Magma, Silverback Ridge, and Radian Barrens. The pack will also include three new guns per faction, including a sniper rifle, an assault rifle, and a machine gun. Sony has more details on the mode on its official blog.

To get you all pumped up for the new content, Sony is putting a bunch of MAG DLC on sale. The first downloadable content pack, “Interdiction” will be half off at $4.99. There will also be a “MAG Starter Kit” available for $14.99, which include both the “Interdiction” and “Escalation” add-ons, a 30-day trial for MAG character slots B and C, six MAG PS3 avatars, and three MAG themes.
