Not surprising, the all-powerful Game Informer looks like it’ll have the scoop on Dead Space 2 in its next issue, which hits stands (and your mailboxes) on or around December 16.
In the meantime, the magazine is hyping up its preview with what appears to be the first official image of the game. Sure, it’s just concept art (although if the game was styled like that… wow!), but it does reveal a few things.
For one, it looks like the game’s main monster-slicing bad ass, Isaac Clarke, is a getting a bit of a makeover. Second, it looks like he won’t hesitate to dropkick some Necromorph fools in Visceral’s forthcoming sequel.
It’s a nice tease, and as a fan of the series (both the original and the solid Wii shooter), I can’t wait to see more. Oh, and hey, did you hear the game will have a (as yet unannounced) multiplayer mode? I call dibs on Necromorphs!
