Yesterday, Media Molecule let fans know about something truly special. The #20 car took fifth place at the NASCAR nationwide. The driver, Joey Logano, was able drive around the racetrack a total of 6 billion times before not winning. After not winning, Logano probably chugged some wine (or milk) and spun in circles in his car while shouting things that any good cowboy would recognize.
What makes this so special? Joey Logano was driving a car with LittleBigPlanet written all over it. That’s right, Mr. Logano was literally driving a car featuring a Sackboy, stitching, and the LittleBigPlanet emblem. Sadly, a brain didn’t control the wheels in this instance.
GameStop, the sponsor of the vehicle, apparently allows developers to decorate the car. While I’ll never understand what racing entertaining, it’s nice to see a little LBP love in the real world. We need a sticker on NFL helmets next, Media Molecule. Make that happen.
