L.A. Noire is bringing its VR antics to PS4

PEGI listed The VR Case Files for PlayStation 4

L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files has taken on a life of its own as a hotbed for hysterical gifs and videos in which players use their VR controllers to make detective Cole Phelps act like a madman in front of witnesses and suspects, and I can't wait for a resurgence when the game comes to PlayStation VR.

As discovered by ResetEra user Toumari, L.A. Noire VR still a PC exclusive since its launch in late 2017 should get a PS4 port later this year. That's according to a now-hidden listing on the PEGI website.

"When it comes to gestures and the subtle VR changes, some of the wonderfully campy moments are actually enhanced by the ability to point fingers and draw old timey glasses/beards on suspects in your journal with a pen in your right hand," Chris explained in his review of the PC version.

"Even though I've played through L.A. Noire several times since its [original 2011] release I found myself nosing around the notebook more often because it was so easily accessible and real."

I'm totally with Chris here. Adapting existing games for VR can have great results if done right.
